Community Service:
Elected Female Democratic District Leader in the 66th Assembly District, Part B, Terri is talking to people throughout the lower Manhattan district, listening to their issues and formulating solutions. She currently serves as Chair of Community Board 2, Manhattan, which is a New York City Charter-mandated organization that serves as the local community's voice. Both positions are unpaid -- Community Board members are appointed by the Borough President with input from the local Councilmember after an extensive application process, and District Leaders are elected in the party Primary.
