After starting out in trade journalism and publishing as editor of several photographic-related publications, Terri Cude made the jump to advertising and marketing, with five years at Dentsu/Young & Rubicam (now DCA Advertising) in progressively more responsible roles.  Her lead client was Canon USA, and she worked on the corporate account as well as all other Canon divisions.

As marketing and advertising director of Point Blank Body Armor, Terri helped the company achieve meteoric growth though careful understanding of the business and the police and military personnel the company served. She produced all company literature including the full-line product brochure, created all materials for new product launches, and attended trade shows as a representative of the manufacturer.

After Point Blank was sold, Terri was hired by a company called Computer Channel that created educational content for IT department leadership to enable them to maintain knowledge and evaluative expertise on fast-changing business technology.  She created the catalog - helping to develop a streamlined process that enabled an online catalog at the same time, which was unheard-of at the time.  She also handled all advertising and CD packaging and developed new potential markets for the company's products.

As technology changed and the internet became part of daily life, Terri moved on to a tech startup, helping to found one of the early website development and hosting firms. She took that business from startup to profitable in less than a year.

All of these skills and experiences were crucial at Terri's next stop - eight years as Vice President at a full-service marketing company. Trade show structures and graphics, collateral materials, advertising and website development all came together to provide customers full-service, coordinated and cohesive marketing.

This array of experience is all utilized now that she is the principal of her own marketing firm bearing her name, working with a flex staff of professional designers and developers to create effective, exciting and affordable marketing materials that spring from a foundation of careful strategic planning.
